Desserted paradise

Boa tarde! In this post I’m going to talk about my trip to the Ilhas Desertas (Desserted Islands). It was a very nice day and finally I could check it out from my bucket list. It was a 3 hours long round-trip and in the way I experienced many things. At first, it was difficult to move in the boat but as the time was passing by I was feeling more comfortable and confident. I was lucky enough to spot different species of dolphins and seawolves. It was very impressive to see them jumping out of the water! We even saw some baby dolphins.

When we arrived there, the guides showed us a little piece of one of the islands and there was a lot of vegetation. There is also a little hospital to save injured seawolves.

Then, we got on a speedboat to visit a little cave that looked like a mermaid tale. Finally, we had some free time to swim in the clear water of the ocean. I had never swum with such beautiful views before!. The water was very cold but it was worthy.

We also found a starfish stuck in the stones on the beach. We tried to save it but it was very late.

To finish, I would recommend this to everybody who wants to come to Madeira because you are not going to regret it! So some advice that I can give to you all is to take swimsuit, food, drinks and some comfortable and cozy clothes because it could be cold and windy in the middle of the ocean.
