Mid-term training in Gerês…

Almost one week ago, I and Lara went to Geres, for mid-term training. We had a flight from Madeira early morning and that night I almost did not sleep. First, we arrived in Porto, before going to Braga we had time to explore the city.

I have been there before, but  I  have not seen many things,  we went to see the river and Eifel bridge, after that we went by train to Braga from Sao Bento railway station. I am surprised because that station is very beautiful, but I will tell about it later in another blog.

When we arrived in Braga I saw people from on arrival training, so I was glad to meet them again.

From Braga, station organizers took us by bus and on the way we saw the very beautiful cathedral, Bom Jesus.

The place, where we had training was in the middle of Parque Nacional Peneda-Gerês.

In the beginning, trainers told us that there were bears, wolves and warning us to be careful, not to touch them and catch and I got scared, I asked them what if they catch us?

it was so funny, everybody laughed.

I am very satisfied, because of training, it was like sum up of our experience and discussing our past, present and future challenges. I really liked the activities and also the place was nice, around was only forest and mountains.

I arrived in Madeira more motivated and with full of energy.
