Newcomers Welcome!

A month has passed since the previous volunteer, my partner in crime – Izabela left.I would lie if i said i don’t miss her, but what can I do!? this is probably the only disadvantage of EVS, that you meet people, get used to them and then they suddenly disappear, as if they never existed, like they were just in your dreams and then you woke up.Does everything happen for a reason?

Last week these two nice girls arrived, meet Lara and Erykah. They will give me a hand and we all together will fight for Cans Liberation, to give them a second life.

Even though it’s just their 3rd working day, they already gained a skill of can-cutting and soon, expectedly they might even do it better than me.

On Saturday we had a short trip around the city. I really tried to be nice and showed them around.

Audrius – Our Lithuanian friend, also joined us and we took a walk along the Promenade.

And of course we visited Ilheu! with our beloved doggo friend – Scooby (Audrius called him so)

P.S. Girls! love your new hairstyles ❤

So from now on our team consists of Georgian, Spanish and Slovenian volunteers, but that’s not all, we are expecting more volunteers from Turkey!

We even interviewed a candidate all together, she must have felt under pressure, but it’s fine, she has know who she is gonna deal with.
