Last weekend I played a role of tourist for the first time since my arrival, and visited beautiful Botanical Garden in Funchal. My companion this time was Izabella (I’m sure you know her from previous articles)
The garden turned out to be spectacular, we discovered lots of new species, which we hadn’t even seen before.Don’t ask for their names, I’ve got no clue 😀 but you can see them and enjoy from the pics.
It’s been almost a month and a half since I’m here and I’d say, that I’ve already got used to the people, who always speak Portuguese with me (like one guy from Vaquinha bar),to the wild nature and warm weather, to the traditional culture and different attitude to life. This period of time has taught me how to deal with life in Madeira.
Before leaving the garden I decided to take a picture with a giant cactus. So I made it at last, but it didn’t end up with good 😀 my hand hit a cactus spur and I got bitten by it as you can see from the 2nd picture.
Yes, cactus spines got stuck on me, like Madeira did. It got stuck deeply in my skin, my body, my soul and my heart. So I don’t think I can easily get rid of it.
